Boerengolf (farmers golf)

A farmers golf ball is, with its 20 centimeter diameter, much larger than a traditional golf ball. Unlike regular golf, farmers golf is played in teams. Farmers golf consists of  8 to 10 holes. A golf hole is made by placing a bucket in the ground and a flagpole beside it. The holes have, on average, more than 200 meters distance between them. Partaking in farmers golf is fun for people of all ages and ideal for company outings combined with other Frisian traditions.
